> How long have you been on Olvera Street?
Our family started out on Olvera Street in the early 1930's by selling Mexican curios and later home cooked Mexican food in front of Caliente Cantina. By the early 1940's Anna Robertson had branched out to own a Ballroom and Dinner Club, and several restaurants in the downtown area.

In 1947, when Las Anitas at 101 North Broadway adjacent to the Mason Theater lost its lease, we relocated to the basement of the Italian hall.
